How Does A Treatment for Porn Addiction Really Work?

I find that the reality of things truly is sad when you see kids as young as 11 years old fall into pornography. The thing that is even more sad is the fact that this is becoming a lot more common and it doesn't look like it will get any better anytime soon. Porn is simply too easy to access because of the internet making cases of pornography addiction just much more common. Now if you happen to be stuck in this situation yourself, you might not be able to undo to past however, you can get a treatment for porn addiction that will break this habit of yours.

Here's the thing most people who try to quit porn do; they go thru a thing called the avoidance cycle. This basically has four steps that most will take. The first one thing most will do is trying to avoid porn and resist the urges. The second steps is when things get really heated up. They try to resist but they simply can't seem to think about anything else and the feeling is simply too overwhelming. Thirdly, they give in. It's just too hard and just the temporary release makes them feel so much better. Lastly, with a big sense of regret, they feel powerless and feel as if they have no sense of control over this yet, they say to themselves: "This is the last time!" and start back all over again.

This cycle is something that they teach you not to do in a treatment for porn addiction. It is the most commonly used method by everyone that don't have a clue how to. It can last for years and never really brings any results except frustration. By getting a treatment for porn addiction, you will learn how to change this habit as well as your porn addiction habit for something that is much easier and much healthier.

Most people think you have to resist these urges but understand that when your body is telling you this, you simply can't resist. In a treatment for porn addiction, they teach you instead to use this powerful will with you instead of against you. The power of habits is very strong and the reason your brain puts out so much effort to learn these things. If porn has become a habit for you, it is no wonder why you can't leave it; because your brain has made it into a habit, the one you use the most and is the most effective.

By getting treatment for porn addiction, you won't learn to stop everything abruptly. Instead, you will learn how to replace these pornography habits of yours with new habits that are better and healthier. This is a crucial step for anyone because porn addiction always ends up leading to other things until it simply becomes uncontrollable. Don't wait until the worse happens for you to get treatment for porn addiction.

Is A Treatment For Addiction To Porn Good For You?

Now we all know that not everyone is the same therefore, we can't assume that everything works for everyone. That being said, if you are suffering from porn and are searching for a treatment for addiction to porn, is it safe to say that it won't work? Well, there is much to be said about its effectiveness and whether it is good for you. In the following, we will be covering why a treatment for addiction to porn doesn't work for everyone, why they're not all the same and where can you find one that works for you.

Now first, I want to cover a big issue with people who get treatment for addiction to porn. I've seen a few people who joined a treatment but even after a few months or maybe even years, they never really changed. They are still addicted to porn and recovery isn't anywhere in sight. That being said, will this happen to you?
Well here's something you should understand; joining a treatment for addiction to porn is just like joining a gym. You can pay for all the help you want, hire a personal trainer and get all the nutritional stuff you need but if you don't actually work to change, you're not going to change. That being said, a lot of people who join a treatment for addiction to porn have the mentality that it's going to do everything for you and you won't have to put an ounce of effort.

Now another thing that I would like to point out about it working or not is that, a lot of partners, women, wives that have sent their man to join a treatment for addiction to porn think that it doesn't work because they still haven't changed and are still committing these acts of infidelity they wanted to get rid of. Well, you can't really blame the treatment itself since often times, most men who are forced to join such a treatment just go there to show their partners that they're there. They're not actually trying anything but just wanting to show that they're trying.

You have to understand that it will take some effort to quit porn once and for all but if you are seriously wanting to do so, you should look into it. Getting a treatment for addiction to porn can make all the difference for you but you need to come in with the proper mindset. Some of them have been proven to work and there are some people who have managed to leave 25 years of porn addiction behind. That being said, if they can do it, you can to. Getting a porn addiction treatment can really make the difference.

Alcohol Substance Abuse Therapy

Expert Author M Cohan

Most people with alcohol substance abuse go into therapy at some point in their treatment. Therapy is usually a one-on- one session with a psychologist, psychiatrist or psychiatric social worker. The therapy is designed to get to the bottom of the alcohol substance abuse and its origins. It can help the alcoholic recover faster and better when they realize why they have been abusing alcohol for so long.

Sometimes childhood issues are discussed with those who have alcohol substance abuse issues. The alcoholic may have one or more alcoholic parents who allowed the child to drink at a young age or gave the person certain ideas about why alcohol was a good thing. The alcoholic may have a hereditary predisposition to alcohol substance abuse and must realize that, in order to break the cycle, they must work hard to stop drinking.

The alcoholic in therapy also discusses relationship issues as they relate to alcohol substance abuse. Many relationships are damaged because of alcohol use and the alcoholic usually has a lot to talk about. Relationship therapy can be undertaken to try and mend the problems associated with the drinking and this sometimes helps piece together the damage done by alcohol. The relationships most damaged are marriages and relationships with one's children, who do not understand why mom or dad is not emotionally there for them much of the time.

If there has been domestic violence, the relationship is even harder to put back together. There needs to be a frank discussion in therapy as to whether or not the relationship is even salvageable. There may be legal issues related to substance abuse and domestic violence so the partner may have a restraining order against the alcoholic. This means they cannot meet in therapy and the alcoholic must discuss issues related to the relationship alone.

The alcoholic might have problems related to their work place and alcohol substance abuse. They may feel badly about losing their job or may be fighting to keep their job by going into therapy and treatment. They need to learn ways to handle their stress on the job and learn that drinking and going to work do not mix. They need to learn that their job is important and they need to show up on time and stay the whole day, at the very least. Alcohol substance abuse and the workplace are important issues that must be worked through before the alcoholic leaves therapy. No matter what the issue, get help immediately for any issues. It will help you gain the control and strength you need to move forward with your recovery.

Treatment For Pornography Addiction And Why You Shouldn't Wait

I can't help but notice that there are more and more people suffering from pornography addiction and it isn't something to be surprised of. Obviously the reason behind this is because of the internet, it is becoming more and more available to everyone, young or old and it is so easy for anyone to get a hold of. Now if you also happen to suffer from it and are searching for treatment for pornography addiction, you are not out of luck. In fact, as much as porn is becoming more available, so is treatment for pornography addiction. But first, before we give you the answer on where you can find good ones, here's a few tips why you should join a treatment for pornography addiction and not wait any longer.

Now first off, why you shouldn't wait any longer to join a treatment for pornography addiction. Have you ever noticed how most smokers say they will quit now or this year or next week but never really do? Same thing can be said with pornography. In fact, porn is even harder to quit can tobacco and a few contributing factors for that. One is because the trigger is inside of you. When you smoke, you need nicotine but when you feel the urge to watch porn, your brain releases tons of endorphins and neurochemicals. To keep it simple, the more it is being released, the more addictive it becomes.

Now another factor that makes porn addiction all that harder to quit is that there are no warning signs. Everyone knows that smoking or drinking is bad for you and can lead to many harmful things. You often hear them but never hear anything about porn addiction. Also, most people never realize who dangerous it is until it's too late.

Truth is, it will always lead to something else. Porn will lead to masturbation, then webcam sex, then searching for people online for sex, prostitution etc. Ultimately, it will end up with you committing infidelity or you can even end up with a change in sexual orientation. Obviously there are many other things it can lead to but those mentioned above are enough of a reason for you to get treatment for pornography addiction.

Now as much as pornography addiction is a serious problem, you can also find good help. There are many good treatment for pornography addiction but your best bet would be to find it online. The reason is because they tend to me very effective, relatively cheap and much more convenient than seeing a therapist. Furthermore, getting porn addiction treatment online will keep you off the radar so no one will know that you suffer from it. Joining a group of some sort can.

What Is Alcohol Substance Abuse?

Expert Author M Cohan

Alcohol substance abuse is one of the largest mental health issues in America today. It causes untold harm to individuals and families across the nation. There is no socioeconomic group unaffected by alcohol substance abuse, in part because alcohol is a legal drug and there is no social negativity associated with mild alcohol use. It is only when the person slips over the line into alcohol substance abuse that it begins to cause legal and social problems.

According to statistics, between 48 percent and 64 percent of individuals who perish in fires are intoxicated by alcohol. Children who drink before they reach 7th grade often have school delinquency, problems with peers and academic problems. Many go on to abuse in later life and only tack on further social and legal problems. Drinking alcohol excessively contributes to strokes, cancers and heart disease-the three main causes of mortality.

There are currently 3 million Americans who are older than 60 and who suffer from alcohol substance abuse and, on the other side of the spectrum, teens who use alcohol are more likely than those who do not use alcohol to have had four or more sexual partners. In fact, 39 percent of teens who drink have had 4 or more partners. Too much alcohol also decreases one's inhibitions so unprotected sex is more likely.

This terrible disease also creates a number of liver problems. Fatty liver is common and alcoholics develop cirrhosis of the liver around 10-20 percent of the time. Liver cancer also causes problems with some alcoholics. Esophageal varices are associated with liver damage and can cause unexpected death in individuals who suffer from alcohol substance abuse.

More than 2 million drunk drivers are on the road each year. Many cause accidents and deaths to themselves and others by not driving correctly. Those older than 21 are not of any help to younger users of alcohol. Most teens with alcohol substance abuse get their alcohol from people who are older than 21 years of age. This causes more drunk drivers as well.

Alcohol substance abuse is a major problem in the US. Some who use alcohol excessively are considered alcohol substance abusers. Others, who have physical effects from this ravenous disease or whose entire life is surrounded by alcohol are considered alcoholics and need some kind of alcohol treatment before they can get off alcohol indefinitely. Most of the time, treatment is the only option for those in need of help with alcoholism and beyond.

Recovery Now TV is designed to build awareness surrounding the recovery from drug and alcohol addiction. We believe that treatment and recovery WORKS. The dialogue between people who have recovered brings hope to those who are still struggling with their addiction. Our TV show is a demonstration that ANYONE is a candidate for treatment and can overcome their addiction. There are thousands of treatment options available to people in the United States. Are You Addicted to Work?

Expert Author Elaine Bailey

"The most successful people I know create superior results yet still maintain a balance among work, family, and recreation in their lives."
Jack Canfield, Success Coach
~~~
People who I coach are often living reactively, struggling with too much to do and drowning in chaos and overwhelm. Yet they really love their jobs and are striving to be successful.
They feel like they are swimming against a rising tide and the only way to survive is to sacrifice personal time as the distinction between work and personal time dissolves.
Dan Sullivan, in his book 'The Time Breakthrough' describes the biggest danger facing modern people today is:
"...that they are running out of time in all areas of their lives."
This danger is physical as well as psychological: sickness, developing stress-related illnesses and even dying early.
Most people I coach love their jobs and are passionate about success. Some are on call 24/7 facing demands from several time zones and meeting extremely demanding deadlines. Globalisation has put greater demand on organisations and constant developments in technology as made it easier for us to work anywhere at any time. Health professionals and academics believe that this change in the work place has produced a world-wide epidemic of 'work-a-holism.'
I would agree with them.
It's easy to become hooked if you love your job. Although you don't want to work long hours forever, you become conditioned into it. Consequently, this creates denial of your addiction to work. Personal time becomes a casualty:
  • Relationships suffer
  • A tendency to over eat
  • Prone to drinking too much
  • Not enough exercise
  • Not enough sleep
So how do you know if you're addicted to work?
Answer or X to the following statements:
  • I talk about work most of the time
  • I'm more excited about my work than I do about my family and friends
  • My friends and family expect me to always arrive late
  • I work more than 48 hours a week
  • I often underestimate how long it takes to do something and end up having to 'burn the midnight oil' to finish it at the last minute
  • I believe that it's okay to work long hours if you love your job
  • Work is the last thing that I usually think about before I go to sleep
  • Work is the first thing that I think about when I wake up
  • I'm scared that if I don't work hard then I will lose your job
  • I'm scared that if I don't work hard my boss will think that I'm not effective?
  • Work is the highest priority, family is second
  • I sleep with my BlackBerry/iPhone and will check for emails if you wake up during the night
  • I always take work on holiday with me
  • I allow work to contact me while I'm on holiday
  • Working long hours has had a negative effect on my relationships
  • Work is always on my mind even when I'm sending time with my family or friends
  • I'll change my private plans for the benefit of work
  • I usually work through my lunch breaks
  • I take on extra work because I'm concerned that it won't get done otherwise
  • I don't get around to booking personal appointments because of work being my priority
  • I use evenings and weekends as a way to 'catch up' with work emails and tasks I couldn't get done during the week
If you have answered to 5 or more, then you are most likely suffering from an addiction to work.
How to break the addiction
Successful people have learnt how to swim against the tide of information overload, unprecedented and unpredictable demands and develop systems practices and processes to be able to balance work, family and personal time.
This can involve some big paradigm shifts. I would always recommend working with a coach.
A good coach will help you to:
1. Recognise your addiction patterns and habits - This is the first step. Self-awareness is very important. So you can begin to pay attention to these. How do they manifest and what impact do thy have on your success?
2. Get clear - What do you want in your life? How do you want to show up differently? You get to decide what YOU want to change and begin to make some decisions.
3. Be selective - Because there are many demands placed upon you have to define your high value activities and focus on these. These are activities that relate to the quality and quantity of your work time, personal time and resting time. Activities that help you to achieve your goals, improve your relationships that are linked to your values and success. Low value activities can be automated, delegated or deleted.
4. Set some boundaries - Schedule your activities in advance. This includes your work, personal and rest time. It's not just about having a To Do List and prioritizing. It's all about being productive. You set clear boundaries and learn to say no. Stop rescuing others learn to trust people and delegate. You can't do it all on your own.
5. Be Persistent - Changing habits and patterns can take time. Change starts with small incremental steps. You don't have to change everything at once.
Device Addiction - 'Sleeping With the Blackberry
Expert Author Elaine Bailey
"The world is entering a new time zone, and one of the most difficult adjustments people make is in their fundamental concepts and beliefs about the management of time."
Dan Sullivan, The Strategic Coach
~~~
Last year I coached a client who was working through relationship challenges with her husband. The cause was her addiction to work fueled by an obsession with her BlackBerry. She was struggling to manage her workloads because she hadn't set any boundaries. Work time often leaked over into her personal time (evenings and weekends). She would regularly sleep with her BlackBerry under the pillow and she'd conditioned herself to wake up during the night to check emails. This obsession put an extra strain on the marriage because her husband would wake up blinded by the light, as she typed.
Today's technology is amazing and really valuable: it's portable, flexible and easy to use and...everyone is connected!
The DANGER is that everyone is connected ALL the time!
There are many devices to help us maintain our connect-ability while going about our 'business': Mobile/Cell phones, lap tops, BlackBerries, iPhones - to name a few!
The challenge with 24/7 connect-ability is that we can unconsciously take it literally. Some people find that their personal time is sacrificed because they feel they have to keep an eye on their inbox when they're not working.
How do you know if you're suffering from Device Addiction?
Here are some symptoms from my own experiences and those of my clients:
  • Checking emails or texting while talking to someone
  • Answering EVERY phone call - even if it isn't important
  • Constantly checking emails and texting while:
    • watching television
    • having dinner in a restaurant
    • out with friends
    • having a bath
    • playing with the kids
    • spending time with your partner
  • 98% of what you're checking is unimportant 'stuff' and could wait
  • When you hear the message alert you just have to check it!
  • When you sit down the device is always placed in front of you.
  • In meetings or workshops you use a variety of techniques to hide your device so you can check it believing that the facilitator can't see you (...they can you know!).
  • The thought of not having access to your device you makes you feel very uncomfortable
  • Friends or family pass snarky comments about your relationship with your device!
  • You check your emails every time you pee!
  • You check your emails while driving
  • Your device is usually the last thing you look at before you go to sleep
  • If you wake up in the middle of the night you always check your device
  • You lose all concept of time when checking your device. Checking emails for 10 minutes often haemorrhages into hours!
  • You check and answer your emails while working out at the gym.
Do you recognise any of these symptoms in your life?
One or two of these are okay. If you find that most of these are true, then you are suffering from Device Addition...
5 Ways to kick the habit:
1. Admit it - Recognition that you're hooked is the first place to start. Remember that technology is our friend providing that you use it wisely and not obsessively. Knowing this can help you step back.
2. Set Boundaries - Sometimes we're lost in the chaos of overwhelming workloads. Work leaks into our leisure time and ultimately affects our relationships and health. Schedule a start and finish time for your working day. Create and maintain your boundaries. Teach people how to treat you. If you let people know you're available, they will contact you! Power down devices during meetings. Don't take your lap top if you don't need it. Get in the habit of turning it off.
3. Get an alarm clock - Use an alarm clock to wake up instead of having the device by your bed. Some of my clients have banned their BlackBerries in the bedroom. They love it!
4. Have a Device Free Day- Allow yourself a day where you are totally free of technology. Life outside the inbox! Walk in the woods, read a book or renew your interest in a hobby. Leave the phone at work if you're not 'on call'.
5. Be 100% Present - Put a high value on your important relationships. One of the greatest gifts you can bestow on someone is the gift of being fully present. Fully engage with the important people in your life. Interact with them and enjoy the present moment. Seriously...Emails can wait!

Legal Addictions

When most people talk about addictions they attach a negative connotation to it (and rightly so) because they tend to be talking about addictions to illegal substances. But what about those people that have addictions to substances that are completely legal and available at just about any local store?

Probably the most common legal addiction that gets brought to light is alcohol. With alcoholism being a real problem that can result in both health and legal problems for those afflicted with it, helping those you love get treatment for their addiction can be incredibly important, in part because of the easily availability of alcohol. Unlike illegal drugs or prescription drugs, you can just go to your corner store and pick up a bottle of bourbon to feed your addiction and so long as you're of the legal age, nobody is going to stop you.
The other big drug that's talked about in the same word with addiction, but that you don't see people seeking comprehensive in-patient treatment for, is nicotine. Considered by many to be one of the most addictive substances that you don't need a prescription for, nicotine addiction, otherwise known as being a regular smoker, can have long term health implications not just for the smoker, but for those around them, as the effects of second-hand smoke have long been documented.

Unlike alcoholism, few addicts of nicotine end up seeking out treatment for their addiction, instead relying on over-the-counter patches and gums to help them beat the addiction, though some will seek therapists to help them get over the addiction if they're having an exceptionally hard time getting over it and are truly committed to ending their dependence on smoking.

Perhaps the addictive substance that gets the least attention is caffeine. How many people do you know that either can't start their day without their first cup of coffee or start to get a headache midway through the day if they haven't had coffee or a soda that's loaded up with caffeine? Caffeine is one of those grey-area substances in that some consider it a gateway drug since it does have addictive properties, while others don't given that most of the withdrawal symptoms associated with caffeine are headaches and perhaps a few days of irritability. Still, see how you feel the next time you don't get your morning cup of coffee.

Another substance that's in a bit of a grey area for being a legal addiction is prescription medication. I say grey area because while they are legal for the person that they are prescribed for, many people addicted to prescription medication aren't taking pills that are meant for them. That's not to say they didn't start out taking pills intended for them, just that once the addiction formed and the prescription ran out they started seeking out pills from other sources so that they could continue to get the effects of the medication.

Improving Habits, Improving Future - Astrology and Addictions!

Expert Author Monita Sharma

All of a sudden something bad happens, and it changes our lives forever! Loss of a job, sudden financial blow, a breakup in relationships, partnerships, deceit, accident and so on; there would perhaps, be no one on this earth who hasn't gone through the sudden angst of nature. Things seem to be happening in a jiffy, and we start immediately, blaming life, blaming God, blaming nature, blaming our surroundings and blaming ourselves! However, what we generally see, is only the one side of the coin. The other is what astrology shows us!
Vedic Astrology is a marvelous science that just doesn't help you in making predictions about the future, but also, helps you recognize that what all things CAN probably cause the incident that's about to happen in the future. Not only this, it even gives us a key to unlock the door to simple remedies that can be done to avoid those things from happening. And here comes the most interesting point. These remedies are nothing but just a few changes in your behaviour and habits and voila, you're done! Yes, improving habits and simple behavioral changes can go a long way to bringing the fortune to your favor.
Sadly, however, behavioral remedies are not highly promoted by the 'karmakandi' astrologers (astrologers, who earn their living by performing rituals and remedies) who don't want people to find respite the easy way. Why? That would mean a serious a blow to their earnings...simple!
That however, doesn't mean that the behavioral remedies are in any way less effective than the costly remedies generally, suggested by the astrologers. The only challenge with the behavioral remedies is that they require patience and continuity. They need to be done consistently over a longer period of time, to see a change. But, the best part is that they bring PERMANENT results. The other remedies like, gem stones, rituals etc. work like painkillers. But, changing habits, improving behavior along with constant prayers and meditation, collectively known as Saadhna, is something that will bring lifestyle changes in you, and you will no longer be influenced by any planet negatively.
Here another point to be noted is, that planets are actually very NICE. They need not be feared of. All planets, including malefics like, Rahu and Saturn, bring misfortunes after giving a lot of signals to the native. If an event has to happen today, you will start noticing some changes in your behaviour and surroundings months before. Isn't that interesting...?
So, what are those symptoms? For simplicity purposes, in this article, we'll focus on the behavioral symptoms only. Notice these:
You don't sit with your father often, and whenever you do, you get involved in some verbal fight or serious argument on any petty issue..
This habit shows that the planet SUN is in a serious trouble in your horoscope, as Sun, in a vedic horoscope, denots one's father along with many other significations. In this case, one is advised to respect one's father, spend time with him no matter what, otherwise, it is even believed, that such a person will not have a struggle-free life before 36 years of age.
You stay awake late in the night, and always have trouble getting up early in the morning.
This is a very serious issue, according to vedic astrology. You can do a survey, such people who are nocturnal birds, will always have a troublesome personal life. Their Sun will be bad, and their ascendant lord might be afflicted with Rahu or Saturn. Such people, should immediately start getting up early in the morning and if possible, do Surya Darshan (Taking a look at early morning Sun and doing Namaskar- Salutation- to the sun God) too.
Excessive Drinking or Smoking.
This habit shows that your Rahu and Saturn are extremely malefic in your chart and at the same time strong too. Such people have never any stable careers, and have to face financial problems every now and then.
Shaking legs or never sitting in an upright position
Waving or shaking legs while sitting is a signal of bad fortune. If you find children or others around you, doing this, or trying to sit in a reclining position on the chair, pinpoint them immediately. This is a weakness caused by bad Saturn and Mercury. Such people are restless by nature and never able to reach their goals. They lose focus frequently and get deviated from their work. As a result, they have troublesome careers.
So, these are a few examples, why improving our habits at the right time, becomes so very important and how the planets warn us about the struggles and obstacles in our lives that we have to face ahead. All the best.

Inhalants and Huffing: The Dangers

Despite the fact that thousands of people abuse certain products by purposefully concentrating and inhaling their contents, very little is known about the rates of use and addiction to inhalants. This is because unlike other drugs, inhalants were never intended for human consumption. Therefore, studies in this regard are difficult to organize and carry out. However, we do know from numerous reports from emergency rooms and critical care centers across the country that the dangers of inhalants and huffing are very real, and include the possibility of mental impairment and even death. Understanding these risks is critical to developing a prevention and education program that can save lives.
Inhalants are a class of drugs that include a wide variety of chemical substances - most of which are found in everyday household cleaners and solvents. This can include paint thinner, gasoline, permanent markers, glade or potpourri sprays, furniture polish, liquid correction products and much more. In most cases users will directly inhale the vapors these products produce, or they may breathe the vapors from rags that have been soaked in the product. In some cases users pour small amounts of the products into paper bags and then breathe from the bags. However, the method of use does not worsen or lessen the risks involved.
According to the National Institute on Drug Abuse, "Sniffing highly concentrated amounts of the chemicals in solvents or aerosol sprays can directly induce heart failure and death within minutes of a session of repeated inhalation. This syndrome, known as "sudden sniffing death," can result from a single session of inhalant use by an otherwise healthy young person. High concentrations of inhalants may also cause death from suffocation by displacing oxygen in the lungs, causing the user to lose consciousness and stop breathing." Additionally, reports nationwide of seizures, vomiting, nausea, paranoia, and various psychoses have led some to believe that brain and central nervous system injuries and disorders may be cause by inhalants.
Despite the fact that addiction to inhalants is rare, more than two million people are reported to have used inhalants in the year 2009 alone. It's likely that these figures are actually much higher considering that the age group most likely to use these drugs are youths and adolescents who can easily obtain such legal substances. In fact, this availability is the primary problem with inhalants. Unfortunately, control efforts would have to be so broad as to regulate thousands of household products at an inconceivable cost.
Additionally, youths and adults who abuse inhalants are more likely to be associated with instances of other types of drug addiction and substance abuse, criminal and/or delinquent behavior, and other social or economic problems. Fortunately, there are treatment options for people who are suffering from dependence or addiction to inhalants or other drugs. And because the dangers of huffing inhalants can be deadly, it's vital that help be obtained before the problem gets out of control. This means that recognizing the signs of dependence is critical - continuation despite consequences, and obsession with a substance generally mark this state.

Where Most Men Fail In Recovering From Pornography Addiction

Any man struggling with pornography addiction is going to go through some amount of failure. Sometimes it's a big failure, sometimes it's minor. But it always leaves the man wondering why he can't hack it. "Why can't I get this under control? Why do I keep failing? Is it just part of being a man or am I fundamentally flawed... a perverted monster?"
The answer is two-part, one dealing with the fact that every man struggles with sexual temptations, the second that any man who has escalated to the point of addiction has somewhat warped the way he sees and reacts to women.
As a man, we are tempted (or enticed, if that word is too religious for you) by any image of the female body. It attracts us physically... sexually. This is the norm... from a Christian standpoint, it's the way God made us. There's nothing wrong with it.
But we're attracted to women more than just physically. We thirst for a deeper relationship with women, emotionally and mentally. A man failing in that relationship will often try to use sex (or in this case, pornography) to make up for his failures. When he does this, he stops putting emphasis on making the relationship better. He's now more concerned with his own physical gratification.
This behavior becomes a habit first, and eventually a dependency. As that happens, he stops seeing the true value of women, both in terms of his relationship to them and in terms of their value in society. He 'objectifies' them whether he wants to or not. He might truly appreciate all his wife/partner/girlfriend has to offer, in a purely theoretical sense. But in practical life, his body and mind does what it's trained to do-it sees women as sexual objects.
The only way for a man to overcome this mindset, is to retrain his very outlook. And that starts with no longer seeing women as purely sexual objects. That means reacting to the female body differently than he has been doing. Not just the naked bodies he's been looking at, but every women he sees or meets.
On the street, in the home, or in the office, he must look away from the female figure. He must control his eyes and his mind, telling himself that the person in front of him is not something to be ogled.
If a man can stop himself from staring at women (even the ones who are dressed in a way to attract men's glances), he will eventually be able to fight the temptation to look at pornography.

How Not to Overcome A Sexual Addiction: Band Aid on Band Aid

Expert Author Bruce Lengeman

Band Aids upon Band Aids - this describes the common method of treating maladies. A large part of the medical community only treats symptoms, and likewise in the field of psychology/psychiatry. Yet, increasingly there are medical professionals who are discontent to apply Band Aids to problems that are much deeper.
The reason that this issue is important to me, and why I have looked into it extensively is was because a notable section of counselors, book writers, and therapists are trying to use Band Aids to cure sexual addiction.
I got a phone call recently from one of the partners on my team. He had just listened to a radio broadcast on a nationally known talk show. The host was interviewing an author who wrote a book addressing sexual addiction. My friend exclaimed that although the author said some good things, everything revolved around setting up boundaries to avoid temptation. As far as he could tell, all this famous author/counselor knew was surface management and behavior modification: Don't go here; don't look there!
I advocate boundaries. We all need them, we all have to have them; but do we set boundaries from a standpoint of defeat and oppression, or from victory and freedom?
So what are some of the root issues that drive sexual addictions? Anything can be an open door to sexual dependency, but I'll address two examples of general categories that have several branching issues under them.
Deep inner pain comes from shame. When a man carries the unresolved pain of shame with him, it will result in behaviors that the mind concocts to shield the pain. Though shame can be translated into any form of addiction, it often results in sexual cravings as a fix the mind creates to medicate the pain.
Another one of the many general categories of root issues is rejection. Most sexual addicts suffer from some form of rejection in their life. Sexual dependency is an intimacy disorder and therefore living out of the filter of rejection exacerbates sexual cravings-again, the mind's way of giving medicine to the pain.
These are just two of many examples of root issues that may be the perpetrators of sexual addiction. But you can imagine how futile it is to try to conquer the drive for lust without dealing first with the root of the addiction. It truly would be like putting Band Aids on Band Aids.

Addiction Treatment Methods

Having proper addiction treatment is crucial to someone who is suffering from any form of addiction involving alcohol or drugs. Most addicts do not seek substance abuse treatment because they either think that they don't need it, or they are too ashamed to admit that they need drug rehab or any other types of treatment. There are also those who are unaware that there are treatments for them. And for that kind of people, I will talk about the main 3 types of addiction treatment.
1. Outpatient Programs
These types of programs have proven to be particularly effective with patients seeking drug rehab. They involve counseling sessions that teach the patients how to control consumption and abuse of drugs. These sessions are either with groups of people, or individual counseling. This sort of programs are best for patients who don't have a serious drug problem and a light addiction treatment like this will be enough to reduce drug dependency.
2. Residential Programs
These programs are for those who have been consuming drugs for longer periods of time and have serious addiction problems. This type of substance abuse treatment involves therapies in controlled environments and also a lot of activities. These activities are meant to show the patient how to live without drugs. These activities and therapies are held in specialized homes that have trained staff members who keep the environment happy and clean for the patients. Most drug rehab programs are held in this type of homes.
3. Medical Treatment
This addiction treatment is only for extremely severe cases where detoxification is needed. This is one of the most efficient ways to cure drug addiction. The idea behind this medical treatment is simple, the poisonous chemical is extracted from the body using specific medical methods. I repeat though, this sort of intervention is only for the most extreme cases. Medical centers still advise the use of therapies and counseling.
These are the main three types of drug rehab and substance abuse treatment. For best results, they should be individualized as each person has their own symptoms and their own requirements. It is hard for a recovery home to do this with everyone though, because it would require too much man power.
There is also a fourth type, and this is a Faith-based treatment. This type of technique is pretty new and is catching on rather fast. The idea behind it is rather simple. It combines the normal addiction treatment with spiritual activities such as meditation, church attendance and so on. The patients will be attending rigorous counseling that will hopefully bring a holistic change to their lifestyle and help them refrain from the consumption of drugs. It basically combines drug rehab with church teachings.
As you can see, there are several ways in which a user can get help if he has any sort of substance abuse. The first step will be the hardest, and that is for the patient to realize that they need help. Once they find the right substance abuse treatment, they will be heading down the right path. They will just need a little more help to get rid of their addiction from specialized personnel and they will be home free in no time. The people from the recovery homes will pick the right addiction treatment for them.
If you need, or a loved one is in need of help with any form of substance abuse, you should get the best addiction treatment available.

How To Start Staying Stopped

Expert Author Alexander Gunn

Why do we struggle so badly when we try to give things up? My uncle Peter fought all his life, albeit rather half heartedly, to overcome the dreaded booze. I think he managed a year or so sometime in the 1970s when we were on holiday in Devon. Eventually, it sent him and most of his family and neighbors mad.
There are entire industries built around stopping smoking, cutting down or stopping drinking, quitting drugs and eating less unhealthy food. But why is it all so terribly difficult for us. Why didn't my old uncle Pete just stop? It's not like he didn't know what was happening or had a shortage of direct harmful consequences; most of the time his life was imploding.
After working for many years in drug and alcohol clinics where "giving things up" was the main focus of every day, I became really aware of an odd paradoxical situation. The more people talked about giving things up, the more difficult it seemed to become...surely it should be the other way around. Surely talking about things makes it clearer, doesn't it?
It was not until I came across the pioneering work of psychologist Daryl Bem and his enlightened "Reactance Theory" that this dilemma began to make sense. Reading through his work I was reminded of the many hours spent listening to people in clinics and the struggles they faced in "giving things up".
The ideas that form the basis of Reactance Theory take on two main themes:
The first idea is that when we are faced with having something taken away from us, whether it's cigarettes, alcohol or chocolate we develop thoughts and behaviors to regain our "perceived" threatened autonomy. In other words, we don't function very well when it feels like things are taken away...we want to be in control and decide for ourselves what we can have and what we can't have. We get mixed up...it begins to feel that instead of consciously deciding not to eat or drink something, that instead, it is being taken away from us, just like sweets from a naughty child. We forget that we are the ones choosing not to eat the sweets, smoke the cigarettes and in Uncle Pete's case drink the booze.
The second theme he talks about, Daryl Bem that is, not my Uncle Pete, (although I'm sure he would if he were both alive and had a few beers down him), is the exaggerated pleasure we falsely associate with whatever it is that has been taken away. In other words, we begin to believe the things that have been taken away from us were better than they actually were.
So, to counteract these powerful conscious and not so conscious goings on, there are two things to remind yourself of when giving up (or cutting down) alcohol, cigarettes, drugs, chocolate, sweets and cakes.
Firstly, it is your choice. You really do have a choice of whether you cut down, stop or carry on; nobody is taking anything away. It's your decision...nobody else's.
Secondly, keep in perspective what it actually is that you are choosing not to do any more. Write down exactly what these things give you. Don't exaggerate, be open and truthful and look at the pros and the cons and refer back to this once you have made your decision to give things up.
Giving up or cutting down is not easy but these two things will make it that little bit easier to get going.

The Cycle of Addiction

Expert Author Kim Halsey

Alcoholics hide bottles around the house. Overeaters stash wrappers. Gamblers open anonymous post office boxes. Porn surfers use advanced technology to cover their tracks. Women take the trash to community dumpsters - in another community - so the neighbors won't see what's going on. Mothers support adult children in ways they know they shouldn't, then swear their child to secrecy.
Why do we do that? It feels like self-preservation, doesn't it? But really, it's impression management. We want to enjoy a reputation that, in our hearts, we know we don't deserve. We want things to look different than they really are. We're keeping secrets.
The longer we do that, the more isolated we become. More and more, we give our time, money and attention to a pathological relationship with a mood-altering substance, event, or thing. A key word here is the pathological (almost neurotic) drive to plan, plot, find, and acquire the next 'fix'. It is impulsive, obsessive, and compulsive.
What that means is we might be going along in our life, managing just fine, and all at once a stray thought comes into our mind. We push it away, but it comes back. That's the impulsive part. Pretty soon, we begin to entertain the thought and before long we can't think about anything else. An obsession is born as we plan how, when, where, and with whom to indulge our excessive appetites.
When we act on it, no matter how many good reason we have not to, the addiction takes control and we have lost our power of choice. We can't stop once we start.
I had a sign once that read, "Happiness is: having someone to love, something to do, and something to hope for." By the time addiction takes hold in a family, we don't feel connected to others and love is just a word. The daily grind of life is at least disappointing if not overwhelming, and we have lost hope that our lives are ever really going to change. So we turn to the one thing that has proven itself faithful over the years to take us out of this painful awareness.
Addiction breeds isolation, and it becomes a vicious cycle. The more we turn away from people and toward our drugs-of-choice, the more isolated we become. The lonelier we feel, the more comfort we need, and the more we act out. First, the people we love step in to help and mind our business. After awhile, they step back and leave us alone.
Alone with my thoughts. Alone with my secrets. Alone with my addiction. This is what I said I wanted. So why am I so miserable? And we use something - or someone - to fill the void.
Then the cycle repeats.

Quit Drinking Alcohol By Means Of These Essential Guidelines

Expert Author Eddie Philips

Despite what AA services present us, you're really not helpless before alcohol, and the fact is that alcohol is powerless before you. Do not let anyone tell you that you are helpless before any habit, as this will simply lead you to an ongoing battle with alcoholism in the case you have a drinking problem. Recognize the fact that you have the strength to choose what does and/or doesn't enter into your body.
There are various types of alcohol, and lots of different circumstances under which we'll drink it. Over the years you might have perhaps favored towards one or two particular kinds of alcohol, and will tend to drink it in 1 or 2 specific places. To overcome alcoholism, you need to learn from your own ordeals, and attack the aspect which is giving you the most trouble. As an example, if during the week you drink one or two glasses of red wine with your supper and at the weekends you're in the habit of getting drunk with your friends, you no doubt know where the trouble lies, right? So take the necessary steps to help reduce your own drinking behavior, and introduce control to your drinking pattern!
Perhaps you feel an urge to consume alcohol as you are remembering a pleasant moment associated with drinking alcohol. Whenever you catch yourself in that frame of mind, then you need to understand it as being false, and instantly re-focus your thoughts on the actual bad experiences you've had involving alcohol.
There are tons of fantastic benefits to stop or cut back on drinking alcohol, from your actual physical well-being to your economic perspectives, from relationships and your own sexual performance, to your psychological and religious life. Compose a list, examine it more than once, and then add additional motives to quit drinking alcohol. The greater number of motives you come up with the easier it's going to be to conquer your alcohol habit. As is alleged repeatedly "awareness is power", and the more you research alcohol abuse the more educated you are going to become as to what it's actually doing to you. Something important that I would like to add here is that my good reasons for giving up drinking might not be your motives to quit drinking alcohol.
Imagine your potential future, without alcohol, and how effective, content, healthy as well as adored you will be, and a real star to those who love you most. Your own future will commence at the very second you figure out that alcohol won't rule over your day-to-day actions. The minute you take the final decision to stop drinking is the actual minute you begin to become healthier.
It is important to remember here that your future remains to be undetermined, and shall be dependent upon the actions you are taking today. Bear in mind that regardless of how many flaws you made in the past, everything can still be changed today.
What makes the real difference is what you do in order to guide your life into a better direction. Get into the habit of envisaging yourself healthier and happier from this day on, and keep mentally focusing on that as much as possible. Our thoughts are so powerful that anytime you passionately focus on something so much, that it becomes our prevalent wish, so believe in yourself living an alcohol free life, and begin to focus on your own personal decision to quit drinking alcohol.

Tap the Potential Movement

By Adela Rubio

Collective movements are powerful and chock full of potential. Whether you're thinking of the Civil Rights movement of the sixties, Sep 11 or the US Presidential elections, you know that everything and everyone is effected when you are swept up into a stream of spiraling potential.

The energy of this burgeoning potential almost feels TOO big to contain, it is so massive. However, once the energy of that wave gets seeded throughout creation the time to ripple the movement picks up again. The tsunami-like afterglow of possibility streams into the microcosm of creation, looking for its 'next.'

How do you engage this next? How do you play out your individual stream of creation within a larger collective movement? Here are some things to explore:

1. Create a new story of YOU. In order to capture the stream of potential in physicality it will often require a new set of characteristics and traits. Notice what specific qualities would be ideal for the task at hand. If you're feeling like you'd like to lead a group and you've always been introverted, now would be the time to access a shift of being. You are a fluid creation, and not everything you've told yourself about yourself is necessarily true. Abilities and talents are like an outfit for a costume ball, they can be tailored for the occasion.

2. Magnetize the potential by fertilizing your environment. Envision yourself surrounded by others who are 'in it with you,' folks who 'get it.' Energetically broadcast that you are up for it and available. Start speaking about your vision/idea. Write about it; invite people to it, whatever 'it' is. Hang up the shingle for your creation. Create the space for it to show up. As you speak your potential into being and align the space for it to happen you will draw everything that you need to you.

3. Access your super connective nature to facilitate graceful shifting. Don't be misled, potential is not all euphoria and excitement. There are jarring moments of contrast and discomfort, all self inflicted. Just notice that it is a signpost to the new. It will be a more graceful experience if you access your connective nature. It's key to connect during these times, especially physically. A phone call, a hug, a weekly mastermind... connection will bring it home for you. It will recalibrate your being and align you with your natural brilliance. There's NO reason to do it alone.

You are an essential element for the evolution of everything. As you take responsibility for the transformative nature of your being you will come to know the power and presence that is yours to wield. You must first BE it to KNOW that you ARE it. This requires a level of trust in your vision and your TRUE nature. One thing is for sure, if you're truly engaging potential, shift happens.

Passive Vs Active Creativity

By Susan K Loughrin

Each day you may wake up and write in your journal, practice yoga, meditate, or create something visual. In other words, you may have a consistent routine of creative momentum that brings you joy.

But where does this daily practice lead? You feel energized and creative; ready to begin your day, yet something seems amiss. How can these creative activities lead you to a new awakening? What are you yearning for that you would like to see brought to life?

It is at these times that we need to begin to formulate goals. To see a bigger or greater project based on our daily creative routines. It is vital and important to create each day. Now becomes the time to shift the mind-set.

There seems to be a necessary play between what may be called Passive versus Active creative work. The enjoyment of creating each day as part of your routine is necessary. Creating with a goal supports your need to actively participate in your life's purpose.

What is the main creative outlet in your life that you wish to "solidify"? How can you work each day towards your project goal?

Below is a list of steps that will support you in creating goals for your project journey:

1. Set aside time each day to do your "work".
2. Be proactive-you have a dream to create this project so set the stage for yourself and get to it.
3. When fears arise, practice affirmations, get supportive friends and share your thoughts, let the negative thoughts pass and get right back in there.
4. If a break is necessary, give it a time limit and get back to your task.
5. Set your goals into reasonable chunks of time.
6. Begin to look at venues that would be good to share your work.

Take a look now at marketing, preparing to share your work, shows, and presentations. This can be worked on in tandem, but is a necessary part of all creative work. How will you share it with others? Visualize what this will look like to you. Be thinking of your audience. Who would be most interested? The greater picture is to present, perform, and share your work.

Perhaps you have always been about the process of your creativity, but the wheels keep spinning. The performance (the presentation of your work) is a chance to use the spinning wheels to propel your artistic work straight up with the power of intention.

Where are you on your creative journey? Take the time to reflect on your own work and goals and share your brilliance.

How Creativity Helps You Think Outside of the Box

By Marita Steffe

"Creativity is God's gift to us. Using our Creativity is our gift back to God".
~The Artist Way

As stated in this quote from Julia Cameron the importance of being creative is clear. By using the gift of creativity people can heal themselves and their lives. The expression of your gift is different for everyone, some may enjoy cooking while others prefer to create sculptures or dance. Whatever your gift is in the creative realm it is something that makes you happy. We've all heard about dancing to the beat of a different drum and expressing your gift is much like that. You express your creativity in the way that feels best to you and it is an act of reaffirming your spirit.

What is Your Gift?
Over the years I have met many people, who were miserable because they had nothing they were passionate about, or they had something they loved to do, but did not do it because of self imposed time limitations or money limitations, stress or whatever other excuses they had to avoid being creative. This caused them to feel the pressure from inside themselves even more, the urge to be passionate, to find joy was there but they didn't take the time to discover it and explore it. The good news is everybody can get into the habit of being in touch with their creative inner beings.

Making Changes
We can recreate our lives at any time if we choose to. Nothing is more boring than doing the same routine over and over again, always socializing with the same people and going to the same places. So when you want to discover what you are passionate about, when you want to explore your creative urges you must first learn how to become comfortable with breaking out of a rut and shaking up your routine.

I ignored my creative passion for 30 years, to pursue more practical things in life. This did not serve me well. I abandoned myself and my spirit, which made me miserable. I was 30 pounds overweight, depressed, angry with the world, and totally stuck. If anyone knows the challenges involved in getting in touch with your gift it's me. For years I had this voice in my head telling me that if I would find my passion, would just become more open to being creative my life would work out. I chose to ignore this voice until it got so loud and I got so desperate, that I finally listened.

As a child I was taught that to be a successful adult you have to work hard and life is not supposed to be fun. When it finally sunk in that there is fun, there is passion and there can be creativity in life, I went on a soul searching journey. I found my passion and how to express it. I learned to have fun again and life is so much more colorful, exciting, friendly and inspiring. Being creative awakens our genius; we just have to open up to it.

I love to inspire and empower others and motivate them to pursue their dreams. To help them build the courage to dare to transform aspects of themselves and their lives and to remind them that they can do it.

"We learn to do something by doing it, there is no other way" ~John Holt

These 12 simple steps will help you find your passion and get in touch with your creative spirit.
1. Do something different every day
2. Make new friends
3. Be aware
4. Do things to keep you centered
5. Love yourself
6. Believe in your-self
7. Be open
8. Play
9. Have fun
10. Experiment
11. Do not take your-self too serious
12. Listen to the voice inside of you

But problems were severe enough for me when they wanted to register my own domain on google, which must pay by credit card, while in Indonesia, to be able to have a credit card, it is extremely difficult.

But whatever happens, I'll keep trying, because this will be a part of survival. Hopefully google generous to me this time.

Against Lost Mood

As a writer, I know two of the most acute illness, the loss of a sense of mood and attacked saturated. This is a disease that can come suddenly. When the mood or boredom has spread, ideas about to be shed, always feels stuck. When forced, even so a standstill. When you have a standstill, letters-letters that have been inscribed, was not beautiful in heart, and it's dizzying.

Maintaining your mood and avoid saturation of the most effective in my experience is to make the target. Some say, the authors could not targeted. But when you recognize print journalists is a writer too, then the actual writing can be targeted, at least targeted based on time or dateline. When the print reporters do not meet the dateline, then the newspaper will not be published. It is written that forced because chased a target date, the results are always bad. But for the first step, to avoid losing the mood and boredom is to make the target.

Maintaining your mood and avoid the boredom that needs to be practiced is by reading the writings of others. Of course, should the writings inspiring and quality. Writing is a release of energy from the body, and increase its energy again by reading.

Do not turn on the game when the mood is lost, or boredom has haunted us. Turning on the game play, I think the same as the plunge on drugs. Game is addictive nature of drug delivery. Or go to sea, the mountains, into crowded places, or places of quiet. In essence, life should be varied, should be dynamic, so that ideas and our writing style underwent dynamics.

Anyway, writing feature is like painting on the spot, or like a photograph, but the use of words as the medium.

Need to be explained, there are many professional writers with distinctive characteristics and ethics that must be met when writing, such as scientists, teachers, journalists, writers, and others. There are differences in labor discipline among them. Type of paper it produces is different too. Feature techniques are often used by the authors as they work.

Type of feature writing is often disamaartikan with writing essay type. Indeed there are similarities, but not exactly the same. Time Writing majors, type of essay writing is often referred to as works of popular science. While the features agreed upon a work of journalistic writing which must comply with the rules or code of journalistic ethics in his writing.

Suffice it here to explain the definition of features. Because, you know, the theory obtained in writing anywhere, setingkali difficult to put into practice. Being a writer in the end not because of learning from theory but from practice. Similar to learn football, though reading the theory of football until the volumes, it is still not going to be a football player if you do not have football practice.

It should be understood that writing is one of the speaking activity. According to linguists (linguists), there are four types of activities for language, namely listening, or listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Four types of activities into categories of skills or skill. Any such thing as skill, dialkukan learning through practice, but that does not mean theoretical lessons are not needed at all. Therefore, I always remembered fragments of the word famous American writer named Edgar Allan Poe when asked, how do you learn to write. Edgar replied: Write! Write! Write!

So, if you want to be able to write, the best lesson to be taken is: Write! Write! Write! Opinion Allan Poe was right. I, too, when learning to write to be sent to the newspaper, reached by writing and keep writing.
When I was in college, I wrote in the newspaper People's Mind, New York Post, Mandala Sunday, Partners Village, Pelita, Media Indonesia, Republika, Singgalang, and other media may still exist, but I forgot his name. As I recall, was first learning to write for publication and successfully loaded by a newspaper is written by type of poetry. Then I learned to write short stories, opinions, essays, and eventually learned to write reviews and criticism. After becoming the official reporter in Media Indonesia, then I learned to write news freature type. There are several requirements that must be met in feature writing, and I will describe the requirements in this part before.

2. Getting Started

a. Mimic
I am beginning to learn to write is by reading someone else, then mimic the writing. Understanding mimic not to be confused with plagiarizing. In the world of writing, copying is called plagiarism. Unlawful to plagiarist. The theory of imitation, in Aristotle called mimetic. This is the first theory that humans use in studying a variety of skills, ranging from the simplest skills to the most difficult skill to learn. Humans learn to eat, walk, talk, bathe, wear clothes, it's a way of imitating others. Babies like to be taught to speak by imitating sounds sent by a nanny, is not it? Then people learn music (singing), reading and writing, drawing, to formulate and define something, was also studied by copying.

There is nothing wrong with imitation. Even smart men were still using replicate measures to achieve something extraordinary. Soichiro Honda, when it was first made Honda is now rampant in many parts of the world, is to imitate. Even the Prophet Muhammad and the other Apostles, mimicking the Angel Gabriel's revelation delivered. What should be copied from a tuliasn? Praktikan course, you'll know the answer.

b. Compare
Now we do not live in a traditional civilization. In traditional times, a student shall be called great if it is able to produce quality work that matched the work of his teacher. In the modern era and kotemporer, someone called great if it is able to defeat the work of his teacher, or at least produce work that is different from the work of his teacher. Therefore, any profession in today, not enough to stop until the artisans to imitate. We must keep moving in order to grow, and grow continues to bear fruit.

Development of the written word, one achieved by doing the comparison. Comparative studies are needed to quantify the results we have achieved. Therefore, if we truly want to become a successful writer, we must read the works of famous writers, to compare with our work.

There is a slogan reads, you are what you eat, and you are how to eat (you are what you eat and how you eat). Healthy or not someone also determined by what you eat and how to eat it. For the writer, or food intake is absorbing information through listening and reading.

Now, therefore, a writer who really wants to be a true writer, he must constantly reading and listening quality. It's hard to be a qualified writer if his reading is not qualified, and the conversation also contained through gossip or rumors. Frankly, I do not like watching infotainment because it is not quality, merely gossip, and expose the dignity of others. Once in a while I just watch infotainment, just to know. If you want to be a writer, I recommend not to infotainment and addicted to soap operas.

There's another slogan that has become important advice, if a fighter wants to be great, then the college gempurlah very tough. Musashi's character in Eiji Yoshikawa's novel, is a byword examples of people who practice it. This proverb recommends, learn about reading a great-great thinkers of the world, if you want to become a international perspective.

c. Sculpt
After comparing our writing with other people's work, we will know the flaws in our writing. The next task is to carve our writing in order to work better. The sharpest chisel to enhance writing is grammar and writing method according to the experts, or at least write method according to the authors experienced. Regarding the grammar lesson, I will not elaborate. Regarding the method of writing, I will describe my experience to be a writer, and will be explained before.

d. Polish
A statue that has been completed chiseled still needs final polish, for example, sanded or painted. Likewise a post, after the completed written, it still requires finishing touch (touches) in order to appear more beautiful and gorgeous.

Beautiful writing, is full of information, and according to Tempo magazine tagline: Delicious to read and need. He flows like a river clear, refreshing the visionaries. Selaiknya good writing pithy and beautiful, so refreshing the reader.

If a statue requires sandpaper and dyes to enhance your shape, then in a paper, sandpaper and pewarnanya it be a logic language, vocabulary enrichment, imagination, emotion, and others. Also on gloss paper, will be described on the front.
